In his search for his father, Plucky Gon embarks on a series of wild adventures that lead him into a world of excitement. Hunters, a unique group of individuals, are committed to seeking out treasures, magical creatures, and even people. However, pursuing such endeavors requires a license, and only a minuscule percentage of applicants manage to pass the rigorous qualification exam. Those who succeed gain access to restricted areas, a wealth of valuable knowledge, and the prestigious title of Hunter.

Gon and his team face a challenge from a group of criminals hired by the Hunter Association. Gon relies on his intelligence to emerge victorious, while Kurapika's intense anger with his red eyes secures another win. Unfortunately, Leorio has no luck and ends up wasting precious time for his team. It's up to Killua to save the day with a display of his assassin skills. With time running out, it takes a combination of resourcefulness and sheer strength to outsmart both the clock and the test.
