• 181500 Hunter Replacement Spring Seal for PGP model sprinkler rotors is a versatile product that fits all models of PGP pop-up rotors as well as the I-20-12 (12" pop-up model only). Please Note: Spring Seat Sold Separately. When it comes to installation, it's important to follow the instructions carefully.
• To remove the old seal, start by unscrewing the body cap and removing the internal assembly, then snap off the body cap while gripping the spring and riser body firmly. Once the old seal is removed, the plastic spring seat needs to be taken out as well.
• Installing the new seal is a precise process. First, push the retraction spring down below the nozzle turret and drop the plastic spring seat onto the riser, followed by carefully working the new flexible rubber seal, flat side up, onto the nozzle turret and then down onto the riser body.
• Once the new seal is in place, snap the body cap onto the body and release your grip on the spring. Exercise the assembly several times to ensure the parts are seated and do not stick, then reinstall the assembly in the sprinkler body and screw the cap on tightly.
• The new riser seal is designed with improvements that increase durability and extend the life of service. Before testing for leaks and making necessary adjustments, it's important to check the final installation height.
